We recently participated again this year in the Dordogne River cleanup between Vayrac and Gluges , organized by Canoës Safraid Dordogne in collaboration with the Dordogne Valley Tourist Office. It was a great opportunity to combine business with pleasure, working alongside a wonderful, welcoming, and friendly team. We collected 42 kg of waste .

The canoe rental service was very well organized, with an 18km route where we had time for a lovely lunch break and a swim. We discovered the Dordogne River from a different perspective, taking our time and enjoying the cool morning air. The equipment was good and well-maintained. Like another reviewer, I think your customers would appreciate it if you quickly asked if people were experienced paddlers in order to provide basic paddling instructions before sending them out on the water. This wasn't asked of us at all, even though the young man launching the canoes at the arrival point gave a quick refresher course to the participants. Despite this, the service was very good and affordable for two people; we had an excellent day on the Dordogne.

We have been using this company many times over the last 10 years (or more) each summer. It is a fantastic experience. With no experience you can canoe … More / kayak short or long Dordogne journeys. Even when the temperature in the surrounding areas was 38C – it was great in the refreshing water. Always bring a picnic, lots of water and sun screen.
