Going on a family trip isn't always easy. Between organization, schedules, and sticking to a budget, we know how much you have to think about! That's why at Safaraid we make it easy to organize and book your canoe or kayak rental on the Dordogne River. Whether it's for a family reunion, a company outing, a summer camp, or a hen/stag party, we do our best to accommodate your needs.
The preferential rate
We offer several types of preferential rates depending in particular on the number of people, but also on the specific logistics for your group.
- – €1 per person for a group of 10 to 19 people
- – €2 per person for a group of 20 people or more
- If your group consists of more than 30 people and/or you require specific services, please do not hesitate to contact us .
The supervisory service
At Safaraid, we offer canoe and kayak rentals without supervision. If your group requires supervision by a state-certified instructor, particularly for school groups, we will put you in touch with trusted professionals with whom we collaborate on one-off events like yours.

For any requests for activities in addition to canoeing, please send us your request by email, and the service provider will then prepare a quote. The quoted price will be separate from the canoe/kayak equipment rental price and subject to the Gaillard Académie's Terms and Conditions.
Our canoes, kayaks and equipment
Our services throughout France for sporting events such as adventure races provide us with the expertise to manage your group, regardless of its size. We have a fleet of 300 canoes and kayaks (most of them "Made in France"), allowing us to accommodate large groups on our beautiful Dordogne River, such as the Mad Jacques in 2022 and 2024 with nearly 550 participants.
Because we are committed to providing a quality service, our life jackets are tested every year according to the current standard, but also washed and disinfected after each use.
