THE MINI
1h30: Monceaux – Brivezac: 10 km
Small route allowing you to discover the activity as a family with children or simply to come and spend a summer afternoon enjoying the unique landscapes that the Dordogne offers us.
THE CLASSIC
3h30: Monceaux – Beaulieu: 18 km
The wildest part of the Corrèze Dordogne, alternating between wooded hills and small, amusing rapids (class 2), including the Battut passage. Arrival at the Beaulieu/Dordogne lake and its magnificent Pénitents chapel.
ATTENTION :
The durations are given for information only; they depend on the water level of the river, your level of practice, your pace…
Always allow extra time for your walks.
For example, plan to leave at least 3 hours before the time of the bus you have chosen for a 10km route, giving you time to equip yourself, explain the route and your break times.
How it works ?
If you park your vehicle in Monceaux :
After a briefing on the trip, you will board directly from our base in Argentat to descend by canoe to the arrival point.

Directions: between Saulières and Monceaux / Dordogne, on the road to Beaulieu/Dordogne

Return by Shuttle
After your ride, we will come pick you up at the time set on your rental contract, to take you back to your vehicle.

From Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, you will take our shuttle which will take you to the chosen starting point.

Beaulieu/Dordogne arrival base (Corrèze) – departure of the morning bus: Altillac leisure base, locality la Garenne – 19 120 ALTILLAC. Follow “La Riviera Limousine”, the bus stop is at the entrance to the municipal swimming pool car park.

Return by Canoe/Kayak
After the walk briefing, you will board and have plenty of time to descend at your own pace (breaks, picnics) to our arrival point in Beaulieu/D. (maximum arrival: 6:00 p.m.).
What is obligatory:
Know how to swim 25 meters, submerge yourself and wear the life jacket provided by us.
Be at least 6 years old.
Wear and keep closed shoes during your walk.
Don't forget before coming:
- Recommended sports attire (swimsuits, T-shirts, closed shoes)
- Food and drinks for day activities
- Depending on the weather, don't forget sun protection (creams, glasses with cord, hats, etc.) as well as sweatshirts and windbreakers.
Good to know :
We provide you with free containers (1 per boat) to keep your belongings dry during your activities.
Let's respect our environment:
- Let us respect the fauna and flora,
- Bring back all your rubbish after your walk (trash cans on the base),
- Respect other users and move past fishermen.

- Sale of water shoes, glasses cords, phone bags, caps, etc.
- Accommodation: campsites
- In the village (4 km): all shops, restaurants, banks, etc.
Important
Cancellations
Cloudy or rainy weather is not a cancellation clause and therefore a refund.
If you wish to stop your descent during your stay, we will do our best to pick you up the same day, but no refund for the remaining day(s) can be requested.
Safaraid Dordogne reserves the right to cancel any departure for safety reasons (river level too high, weather alert, possibility of storm, etc.). This cancellation will result in an immediate refund of your deposit or a modification of the dates of your stay.
Attention !
As the watertightness of the containers is not guaranteed , we strongly advise you not to take on board objects that are sensitive to water such as your cameras, telephones, etc.
No recourse will be possible in the event of a problem.
