THE MINI
1h30: Vayrac – Gluges : 9 km
Small course allowing you to discover the family activity with children or for the most in a hurry who want to do several things during the day. It is a summary of the river and a moment of relaxation. Free departure between 9:30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.

THE CLASSIC
3h30: Vayrac – Saint-Sozy: 18 km
This is the essential at Safaraid ! Course accessible to beginners who will make you pass at the foot of the Copeyre belvedere and the Mirandol castle, along the Glugescliffs. You will cross the village of Creysse before arriving at the heart of Meyronne-Saint-Sozy. Free departure between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm.

THE MAXI
5:00 a.m.: Vayrac – Pinsac: 27 km
A large course that we offer for the day, it is suitable for sporty or experienced people who want to make the most of the long summer days! Plan to leave before 10:30 a.m.
Reserved for athletic people who are used to paddling. Long-distance course.

THE SUPER-MAXI
7:00 a.m.: Vayrac – Souillac: 36 km
Another very big course during the day, advised to those initiated and sports. Plan a start before 10:00 am.
Not recommended for beginners in July-August, good physical condition required. Very long route.

ATTENTION :
The durations are given for information only; they depend on the water level of the river, your level of practice, your pace…
Always allow extra time for your walks.
For example, plan a departure at least 3 hours before the time of the bus you have chosen for a 9km route, time to equip yourself, have the route explained and your break times.
If you want the 4:30 p.m. shuttle to Gluges, join us in Vayrac around 1:30 p.m. max, to make the most of your descent...
How it works ?
If you park your vehicle in Vayrac :
After a briefing on the trip, you will board directly from our Vayrac to descend by canoe to the arrival point.

Directions: in the village, follow the direction of the Dordogne and the campsites. We are 2 km from the village, after the lake and the “Mirandol Dordogne” holiday village.

After your ride, we will come pick you up at the time set on your rental contract, to take you back to your vehicle.

If you park your vehicle at the arrival base (reservation required):
From St-Sozy or Pinsac, you will take our shuttle which will take you to the starting point of Vayrac.

No shuttle from Gluges -go to the Vayrac for departure.

Return by Canoe/Kayak
After the briefing on the ride, you will board and have plenty of time to descend at your own pace (breaks, picnics) to the chosen arrival point (maximum arrival: 6:00 p.m.).
What is obligatory:
Know how to swim 25 meters, submerge yourself and wear the life jacket provided by us.
Be at least 6 years old.
Wear and keep closed shoes during your walk.
Don't forget before coming:
- Recommended sports attire (swimsuits, T-shirts, closed shoes)
- Food and drinks for day activities
- Depending on the weather, don't forget sun protection (creams, glasses with cord, hats, etc.) as well as sweatshirts and windbreakers.
Good to know :
We provide you with free containers (1 per boat) to keep your belongings dry during your activities.
Let's respect our environment:
- Let us respect the fauna and flora,
- Bring back all your rubbish after your walk (trash cans on the base),
- Respect other users and move past fishermen.

On-site services in Vayrac
- Sale of waterproof bags, phone bags, water shoes, caps, sunscreen, glasses cords, etc.
- Sale of cold drinks
- Nearby: pétanque court, wooded area along the river for your picnics, children's play area, fitness trail, etc.
- Accommodation: less than a kilometer, 3-star campsite , gîtes and guest rooms , holiday village.
- In the village (2 km): all shops, creperie, pizzeria, banks…
Important
Cancellations
Cloudy or rainy weather is not a cancellation clause and therefore a refund.
If you wish to stop your descent during your stay, we will do our best to pick you up the same day, but no refund for the remaining day(s) can be requested.
Safaraid Dordogne reserves the right to cancel any departure for safety reasons (river level too high, weather alert, possibility of storm, etc.). This cancellation will result in an immediate refund of your deposit or a modification of the dates of your stay.
Attention !
As the watertightness of the containers is not guaranteed , we strongly advise you not to take on board objects that are sensitive to water such as your cameras, telephones, etc.
No recourse will be possible in the event of a problem.
