However, one rule applies to all rivers: it is imperative that ALL participants be able to swim 25 meters unassisted. It is also mandatory to be able to submerge oneself and to be in sufficient physical condition to participate and to know how to safely recover in case of a fall.

  • If your children have never canoeed or kayaked before, are young, or you are alone with them in the boat, don't choose a route that's too long. We recommend our 9km routes; they will be perfectly suitable!
  • Prepare snacks and bring enough water for the entire canoe/kayak trip.
  • Whatever the weather, remember to bring sunscreen ( natural) or UV-protective t-shirts, a cap, sneakers and a change of clothes.
