Small route allowing you to discover the activity as a family with children or simply to come and spend a summer afternoon enjoying the unique landscapes that the Dordogne offers us.

THE CLASSIC – 3h30: Argentat – Beaulieu: 18 km

The wildest part of the Corrèze Dordogne , alternating between wooded hills and small, amusing rapids (class 2), including the Battut passage. Arrival at the Beaulieu/Dordogne lake and its magnificent chapel.

The essential

THE MINI – 1h30: Vayrac – Gluges: 9 km

Small route allowing you to discover the activity as a family with children or for those in a hurry who want to do several things during the day. It’s a summary of the river and a moment of relaxation.

THE CLASSIC – 3h30: Vayrac – Saint-Sozy: 18 km

It’s a must-have at Safaraid! A route accessible to beginners which will take you past the Copeyre belvedere and the Mirandol castle, along the Gluges cliffs. You will pass through the village of Creysse before arriving in the heart of Meyronne – Saint-Sozy.

THE MAXI – 5:00 a.m.: Vayrac – Pinsac: 27 km

THE SUPER-MAXI – 7:00 a.m.: Vayrac – Souillac: 36 km

Large courses that we offer for the day , they are suitable for sporty or experienced people who want to make the most of the long summer days! Plan to leave before 10:00 a.m.

The three castles

THE MINI – 1h30: Saint-Sozy – Pinsac: 9 km

Small route allowing you to discover the activity as a family with children , cliffs, beautiful residences and passage at the foot of the Belcastel castle.

THE CLASSIC – 3h30: Saint-Sozy – Souillac: 18 km

This is the typical imagery of the Dordogne: numerous cliffs and 3 magnificent castles hanging above the river. The Château de Belcastel at the Lacave caves, the Château de la Treyne and its “Relais et châteaux” hotel and the Château de Lanzac.

If you park your vehicle on a departure base:

After a briefing regarding the ride, you will board directly from our base , to descend at the arrival point.

After your ride, we will come pick you up at the time set on your rental contract, to take you back to your vehicle.

If you park your vehicle at the arrival base (reservation required):

You will take our shuttle which will take you to the chosen starting point.

After the walk briefing, you will board and have plenty of time to descend at your own pace (breaks, picnics) to our base (maximum arrival: 6:00 p.m.).

How to come ?

PLEASE NOTE: the durations are given for information only; they depend on the water level of the river, your level of practice, your pace... always allow extra time for your walks.

For example, plan a departure at least 3 hours before the time of the bus you have chosen for a 9km route, time to equip yourself, have the route explained and your break times.

If you want the 4:30 p.m. shuttle to Gluges, join us in Vayrac around 1:30 p.m. max, to make the most of your descent...
