In the Dordogne Valley, markets and farmers' markets are a way of life. Life is good here! People love sharing a drink by the river with a platter of local specialties. In the morning, before heading out for a walk, they shop for their picnic lunch. On the menu? Local produce, of course!

The market and fair of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne

In the heart of this "Most Beautiful Villages of France" and on the banks of the Dordogne, experiencing the Beaulieu farmers' market is a must! Just a 2-minute walk from the riverbank, do your shopping at the various markets throughout the week.

When can I go to the market or fair in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne?

  • Monday evenings from 5pm to 8pm for the farmers' market
  • Wednesday morning in the Place du Champs de Mars
  • The 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, Place Marbot for the fair

The Carennac night market

In the heart of the Château de Carennac park, experience the festive atmosphere of this summer farmers' market. Melon, strawberries, straw wine and charcuterie will be there!

When can I go to the Carennac night market?

  • Tuesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm in the Castle Park

The Vayrac market and fair

Just a short walk or drive from our main base, you can enjoy the Vayracmarket and fair. A small market brimming with the aromas of local produce is held in the town square and near the church. During the summer season, you can also enjoy the aperitif evenings and summer Thursdays – a festive and convivial atmosphere!

When can I go to the market or fair in Vayrac ?

  • Market on Thursday mornings and fair on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, Place du 11 Novembre
  • Saturday morning, Place du 11 Novembre

The Creysse market

Located on the riverbank, this small haven of peace in the Lot region offers a charming market of local products.

  • Tuesday in the village square

The market and fair of Souillac

From our partner campsite, "Les Ondines," in Souillac, you'll be just minutes from the Souillac market and fair. At this large market, you'll find all the wonderful products the Dordogne Valley has to offer; don't forget to buy your Rocamadour cheese!

When can I go to the market or fair in Souillac?

  • Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 8pm in front of the Tourist Office
  • Friday mornings in Place Doussot and Place St-Martin
  • The 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, Souillac fair on Place Pierre Betz or Place du Foirail
  • Sunday morning on Boulevard Jean-Louis Malvy
