The best option from Paris is to take a train from Gare d'Austerlitz to Brive-la-Gaillarde. Once in Brive-la-Gaillarde, you can take a TER regional train towards Vayrac or St-Denis-près-Martel, which has better service, enjoying a short journey of approximately 30 minutes.
From Bordeaux
From Bordeaux, you can also travel to Brive-la-Gaillarde by train. Direct trains depart from Bordeaux Saint-Jean station to Brive-la-Gaillarde. In Brive-la-Gaillarde, take the TER regional train towards Vayrac for a quick and comfortable journey.
From Lyon
Travelers from Lyon can take a high-speed train (TGV) from Lyon Part-Dieu or Lyon Perrache stations to Brive-la-Gaillarde. Once in Brive-la-Gaillarde, take the TER regional train towards Vayrac St-Denis-près-Martel for a convenient arrival.
From Toulouse
If you are departing from Toulouse, take a train to Brive-la-Gaillarde. Direct trains from Toulouse-Matabiau station will take you to Brive-la-Gaillarde. From there, take a TER train to Vayrac St-Denis-près-Martel to complete your journey.
And by plane?
There are several airports near our Vayrac base such as Bergerac in Dordogne or Brive Vallée de la Dordogne airport in Corrèze.
From Bergerac airport, the easiest option is to take a taxi directly to the nearest train station, Mussidan. From there, a direct train will take you to Brive-la-Gaillarde. Alternatively, some car rental companies offer the option of picking up the car in Bergerac and dropping it off at another location (Brive, for example). This will be less expensive if you're traveling in a group.
From Brive airport, a taxi can drop you off directly in Vayrac (25km).
