Your stay

Between Corrèze and Lot, set off on a journey into the great outdoors which will allow you to discover numerous villages classified among “ the most beautiful villages in France ”: Beaulieu S/Dordogne, Carennac, or even Souillac. Canoe trip over several days and nights in a bungalow

PROGRAM

DAY 1

Arrival (Saturday)

Arrival at the “Mirandol Dordogne” chalets “Les Granges” Leisure Center, 46110 VAYRAC, between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Installation in your accommodation.

DAY 2

Difficulty :

Distance: 18 km

Duration: 3h30 to 4h30

1st stage (Sunday): Vayrac > Saint-Sozy

Meet at the Vayrac canoe base (100m from your bungalow) between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., at your convenience.
Very beautiful descent between the limestone cliffs of Quercy, passage at the foot of the Mirandol castle and the Copeyre belvedere, possibility of visiting Gluges and its church whose restoration of the stained glass windows had been financed by Edith Piaf who liked to come and recharge her batteries there. Possibility of stopping at Montvalent with the resurgence of the underground river from the Padirac chasm (10 min walk). You will also have the opportunity to stop at Creysse, a typical Lotois village.

DAY 3

Duration: 3h30 to 4h00

2nd stage (Monday): Saint-Sozy > Souillac

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Vayrac base.
A day dedicated to the cliffs and castles of Lot. Swimming breaks on a pebble beach facing the Château de Belcastel, passage under the Château de la Treyne, classified “Relais et Châteaux”. If you pay attention, you can enter a cave with your canoe and feel the freshness of the resurgence.

DAY 4

Free day (Tuesday)

It’s up to you to define your program!
If you lack ideas, we have some suggestions: visit the villages of Turenne, Curemonte, Collonges-la-Rouge, Rocamadour…

DAY 5

Duration: 3h30 to 4h00

3rd stage (Wednesday): Argentat > Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Vayrac base.
Arrival in Argentat around 10:45 a.m., handover of equipment and departure for the descent.
During the descent, passage of the Battut rapid. Arrival in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne and its magnificent chapel on the banks of the river.

DAY 6

Free day (Thursday)

It’s up to you to define your program!
Why not go to the Vayrac market, then discover the Padirac chasm, Martel or a little further away the Lascaux caves?

DAY 7

Difficulty :

Distance: 23 km

Duration: 4h30

4th stage (Friday): Beaulieu sur Dordogne > Vayrac

Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Vayrac base.
Departure by canoe around 9:45 a.m. in the heart of the village of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.
During the descent possible visit to Carennac and its cloister.

DAY 8

Departure (Saturday)

End of stay and departure from the “Mirandol Dordogne” chalets before 10:00 a.m.

Prices

The price is calculated according to the period, the number of people and the age of the participants.

This price corresponds to 7 nights in a bungalow in Mirandol Dordogne, 4 canoe stages between Argentat (Corrèze) and Souillac (Lot) and shuttles to and from the bases.

Stay available from June 15 to September 15, from 2 people.
